What is Crowded Skies ?
Crowded Skies is a record breaking event. The fifth edition established the current record of 1941 members connected at the same time. The goal of this edition is to establish a new record. IVAO invites you to test your skills in the Saturday Night Fever! When will the peak hour be? We hope to see everybody online around 2100Z.

According to IVAO announcement, Iran division radio channel has been changed to cc.ts.ivao.aero.All of our members and staff can now access IR_Members , IR_Staff through this channel.

Iran Division will Present  “Real TEHRAN Event” with full and realistic ATC coverage in September 20th at 1500Z in memorial of one of the Iran’s greatest ATC controller (Ali Romina) .Flight booking for this Event Will be open from 13th of September with Real  Airlines Callsign. Destination Airport will be Mehrabad Intl Airport (OIII) and the Departure Aerodromes, major airports of other countries. This Event also Include some cool stuff like video broadcasting live, one while the event is in progress and the other after the event for your division. We are very sad to announce that one of the best and most influential Iranian air traffic controller flown to his final destination. Ali Romina passed away yesterday evening during his shift in Tehran (OIII) approach because of a heart attack. On behalf of all Iranian members of Ivao we would like to give our sincere condolence to his family. Rest in Peace.

The Software Development and Logistics departments have agreed to the following time schedule for the disabling Ivap version 1.3.5 and earlier. We urge everyone to try out and upgrade to v1.3.6 as soon as possible, this to prevent any problems after the disabling of the old versions.

We invite all our controllers to work harder and to get a better rating for better coverage of Iran Space.

Iranian division of Ivao has decided to organize ATC controllers for Iran between 20 and 24 local time weekly. We invite all controllers who can provide service during that time for one of the Iranian airports to join us. Iran has now its own dedicated radio channel on Hungarian server of Ivao network. From now on all Iranian members can communicate using this channel available at: http://hu.ts.ivao.aero/IR_MEMBERS

We now have permission to test and issue Flight Captain, Senior captain and charley 1 certification in Iran. From now on these test are conducted in Iran and by Iranian crew.

In the first stage of rebuilding Iran space, Tower and ground control for Imam Khomeini Airport (OIIE) and also tower for Kish Intl Airport (OIBK) have been designed and are operational now.

In an interesting event by our neighbors in Bahrain division to celebrate our start we will be together in flights from Manama airport to Tehran (OIII).Radar service in both Approach and Tower will be available by our controllers at Tehran Mehrabad (OIII). The event will be on the 3rd of October 2008 at 17 GMT (8.5 Local time).We invite all our pilots and also our friends in Bahrain division to participate in our journey.

The previous version of site had problems with Opera and Firefox browsers which was related to some incompatibilities in site's styles. These bugs were fixed in the current version.
